The Product
A compact 8.0 liter kitchen storage water heater that can be installed in the kick space under the kitchen base units. The heater produces a water temperature of 55 °C.
The high-tech challenge
Concept design and full product development, ensuring that rival patents weren’t violated.
Our solution
We developed a mixing valve enabling the heater to store five liters of hot water at 85 °C, but deliver 8 liters of warm water at 55 °C. A clever use of ultrathin insulation material makes it possible to store the heater in a limited space without risk of damage caused by the high temperature of the stored water.
Our Value
PCV Group was responsible for the concept and full product development. The trade fair launch was a success and sales started on time.
